Come to the Breakfast Club, what UPC Youth call Sunday school. Those in grades 6-12th enjoy interesting fellowship and study of the bible from 9:30-10:45.
Here are a few things to be sure you have down on your calendars, (and to RSVP for as soon as possible):
1. August 9 is our UPCY all day fun day... Fiesta Texas! We will meet at the church at 9:45am (park opens at 10:30) and will be back at the church by 9:30pm (park closes at 9:00- we may decide to come home earlier- feel free to give me feed-back... is that way too long of a day?). Ticket prices will be around $28 per person if we get 15 or more, around $38 if we have fewer than 15.
So, please let me know ASAP:
1) If you (youth) would like to come (and bring a friend?)
2) If you (parent) would be willing to drive and/or stay all or part of the day as a chaperone
3) If you (either) have a season pass (that you can use or that someone from our group might be able to use)
2. I've been asked to film and create a video for an event taking place at Divine Redeemer/House of Neighborly Service on August 12(afternoon/early evening), and would love some help with the set-up and filming from a few of our film-making pro youth! If you are interested in helping me out, please let me know!
3. Finally, don't forget the end of Summer pool-party at the Nicholson's house on August 21, and our first Breakfast Club and Youth Group on August 28!
