Life isn’t perfect! Yet, media and pop culture lift up a particular image of how women and men are to be. Honoring Women’s History Month, this course will explore finding our own voice. We will use dream-tending, animators clay and dialogue as ways of connecting with our own and others’ stories in a more playful, empathic way.

Sarah Jones is an artist whose work with her own dreams inspires and guides her work as an artist. She has a B.A. in Psychology and a B.F.A. with a concentration in sculpture as well as a background facilitation. She occasionally teaches as a guest instructor at El Cielo Studio and Artist Retreat Center on top of a mountain near San Antonio, Texas. Her work is in the collection of the University Health System in San Antonio and in private collections in Georgia, Louisiana and Texas. She works out of a studio near downtown San Antonio, Texas.
