Popular hiking leader will conduct walk and plant study to identify native and exotic plants found along the trail. We will visit the pond/bird blind and bee hives at the park. Learn to promote conservation of natural resources in our region and sustain the natural environment to enhance urban spaces. Participants should wear closed-toe shoes, a hat, and carry water. No restroom facilities are available at the Preserve.
About the Instructor: Ron Tullius is an experienced trail hike leader and certified Texas Master Naturalist. The class will meet at the Bulverde Oaks Nature Preserve which is at the Intersection of 1604 & Judson Road (outside the Loop). The Preserve is just a few hundred yards from 1604. Please park facing straight in to the fence.
