Learn how meditation prepares us for daily life and provides support for participating in society.

The practice of meditation provides the ground for rediscovering the natural dignity, power and profound magic of being human. Meditation in this class exploresthe heart and joy of genuine communication and will show ways of nurturing our connection with community.

About the Instructor: Betsy Pond is a former director of the Shambhala Center of San Antonio and a student of Shambhala Buddhism since 1990. Betsy has attended a full curriculum of advanced training and meditation retreats.  In her role as Shastri  (a senior teacher in the Shambhala Buddhist lineage of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche and Sakyoung Mipham Rinpoche) she teaches meditation and leads programs on the inherent goodness, wisdom and decency of humanity and society.
