Scriptural Reasoning is a class designed for non-experts who enjoy reading their own sacred texts and have an interest in the sacred texts of others. It offers an opportunity for a small group to read texts of the Abrahamic traditions--Judaism, Christianity and Islam. The process was developed at the University of Cambridge, England, as a way to deepen understanding across religious traditions, foster friendship and help participants learn more about their own and others’ religious texts and practices. Each table of six is composed of two Jews, Christians, and Muslims. For more information, go to www.scripturalreasoning.org
