Learn how meditation prepares us for daily life and provides support for being in society. In this three session class participants will learn how the practice of meditation provides the ground for rediscovering the natural dignity, power and profound magic of being human, exploring the heart of conversation and the joy of genuine communication, and supporting ways of nurturing our connection with community.
About the Instructor: A former director of the Shambhala Center of San Antonio and a student of Shambhala Buddhism since 1990, Betsy has attended a full curriculum of advanced trainings and meditation retreats. In her role as Shastri (a senior teacher in the Shambhala Buddhist lineage of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche and Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche) she teaches meditation and leads programs on the inherent goodness, wisdom and decency of humanity and society.
