Adult Choir
The Adult Choir provides music for the Sunday worship service in a variety of musical styles ranging from Renaissance to contemporary. The singers often combine with instrumental ensembles to present special musical performances during the Christmas and Easter seasons. In recent years, they have performed Bach cantatas, Lloyd Pfautsch’s “A Day for Dancing” (with liturgical dancers), and Rob Landes’s “Jazz Gloria” (with piano, bass, and drums). The choir is sometimes accompanied by the church’s historic Flentrop organ, modeled on the instrument that Bach used in Leipzig.
Choir rehearsal times (August through May): Adult Choir rehearsals take place on Thursday nights from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Community Room. The Sunday Morning warmup is at 10:25 a.m.

Room: Community Room
Director: Valerie Thompson
UPC Children’s Choir is open to all interested children in grades 1-5. We rehearse every Sunday morning in the Community Room (or in the Sanctuary on singing Sundays.) Choir members learn about music and scripture as they prepare anthems to offer in worship. Come share our love of singing our praises to the glory of God!
