Unto the least of these: a forum of mission
Our 60th anniversary motto is widening and deepening our faith, and like most churches in the US we are in the process of examining not so much who we are as what we need to do to show forth the Kin-dom of God. So this Forum is open for all members and friends of UPC to suggest ways and means for reaching out to the world:
How does UPC bring the gifts of God to the creation of God?
We know there are needs, we know there are issues, and we know there are ways for people to reach out in God's name, and this Unto the Least Forum is set up to facilitate that missional outreach. There are a number of categories for this forum already established, but more can be added. Not only may you post information, but you can share it as well to Twitter, Facebook, or email it by clicking on the link at the side of the page.

make comments or suggestions,
share stories or resource links,
place issues or concerns before the congregation, or
to invite discussion of the mission of UPC
The Deacons and Mission and Outreach Commitee already engage in a number of projects, but the needs of the world change quickly and sometimes demand more immediate responses and more long term planning. This forum seeks to aid in that discussion of mission, outreach, and care to which Jesus calls us.
