Children's Education

UPC feels this spiritual journey begins with the teaching of children through dynamic, interactive approaches.

Our children’s Sunday School classes meet every Sunday during the School year (except the Sunday following Christmas and during the month of August), from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. in the Center for Education (CE) Building.

Pre-K/Primary Grades Sunday School

CE Rooms 5 and 6

Children age four through second grade gather for a light snack and singing, and are then led through a "Way of the Child/Godly Play" hybrid curriculum. This contemplative method moves the students through various stations that foster quiet space, uniquely honors their spirituality, and allows them to enter into the stories that they are learning through play.

Upper Elementary Sunday School

CE Room 7

Third through fifth-graders are led through the PC(USA) children’s curriculum "We Believe," growing in faith and understanding of the Bible by learning the stories of the people of Israel and of the earliest Christians.
