Join us today, April 2, 2:00pm-4:00pm, at the campus of the San Antonio Jewish Community Center (12500 NW Military Hwy.) Speakers will commemorate the life of Nobel Laureate and Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel (1928-2016), and – through the witness of a young refugee living in San Antonio – highlight the on-going persecution of the Rohingya Muslim minority in Burma (Myanmar). Hear the speakers, listen to live music, and participate in activities (indoors) before walking around the campus in support of the victims of genocide and mass atrocities world-wide. For more information go to http://walkagainstgenocide.org/ or talk to Barry Hubbard, Mary Lance, or Andrew Wilson. UPC is a founding member of the San Antonio Coalition Against Genocide (SACAG), and we are grateful to David Germer and the UPC Youth Group for helping us with this event.
