Biblical Studies Class


This semester’s Bible study is the New Testament book of Hebrews. We meet each Sunday morning at 9:45 in Classroom 1 of the Christian Education Building. The class is reading and discussing the sermon which is mistakenly called a “letter.” The schedule for the rest of the semester is Feb. 19 – Hebrews 4:14-7:28; Feb. 26 – Hebrews 8; Mar. 4 – Hebrews 9:1-10:18; Mar. 11 – Hebrews 10:19-11:40; Mar. 18 – Hebrews 12:1-13:17; and Mar. 25 – Hebrews 13:18-25.

 The Adult Sunday School Class -- Living our Faith

Ruben Dupertuis (Assistant Professor of Religion at Trinity University) has agreed to lead our class on "The Jesus Seminar Jesus " for the next two weeks (Feb. 5 & Feb 12). He will bring info about where he and other scholars agree AND disagree with some of the seminar findings and why.

Following that topic, our very own Pastor Kelly Allen has agreed to lead our class in a study of the 7 Deadly Sins and their Corresponding Virtues!

Meeting in members’ homes on the fourth Monday of each month with a new group-selected book, the Woman’s Book Group shares a salad potluck supper and a book discussion moderated by a different member each month.
