Music Programs:

Music is an integral part of the worship and life of our congregation.  Descriptions of each of our many programs can be found below.

UPC has two choirs: the Children's Choir (grades 1-5) and our Adult Choir.   Among a host of other musical instruments, UPC. is blessed with two pipe organs, the downstairs Flentrop and the recently renovated Holtkamp-Frehls-Ballard organ which is housed in the loft.  Valerie Thompson serves as our organist.

The Children's Choir choir performs during worship once each month (September through May).  The Adult Choir likewise undertakes special musical performances such as "Christ Lag in Todesbonden" (Easter 1997) when not combining with the youth choirs to perform such works as Robert Ray's "Gospel Mass" (Jan. 1998) or Ottorino Respighi's "Laud to the Nativity" (Dec. 1998).
